Whether you're shovelling out in the US Midwest and Great Lakes, bracing for a Northeast or New England nor'easter, up in the mountain states, in Canada, or facing a cold winter across the UK, Ireland and Europe — Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy, the Nordics, Poland, Austria and Switzerland — wherever winter has you below freezing, Jamaica is the warm way out. Jamaica's winter season is booking now, and this year there are more flights chasing fewer hotel rooms — Canada alone has 62% more airline seats to Jamaica this winter (Jamaica Tourist Board). A private home in a gated community beats a sold-out resort strip: your own kitchen, your own yard, a Superhost who replies within the hour.
Airline capacity to Jamaica is up 23.5% overall for Jan–Apr — and up 62.1% from Canada. The flights are coming; the rooms are the scarce part.
Around 20 hotels are still closed this winter, leaving roughly 10% of Jamaica's hotel rooms unavailable. Homes like ours are live, hosted, and taking bookings.

Built for holiday weeks and for settling in on a monthly winter stay.

Royal Oasis sits inside Ocean Pointe, a gated community in Lucea directly across from the beach — so a stay comes with a full resort-style amenity set, all a short walk from the front door.
Ocean Pointe's own restaurant (Shop 2) serves real Jamaican food every day — Mon–Sat, 10am–8pm — with delivery on request, so dinner can come to you. And for everything else, there's a grocery store right inside the community too.
